DisapproveI went to my first Elvis Impersonator Concert last month. The man had the looks, voice and moves of Elvis. Just was not the same. I guess after you see the best, there's nothing left.

This man's name was Eddie Miles. Anyone seen him perform?

In 2 weeks, I am going to see Steve Freeman. Anyone seen him perform?

Will let everyone know if he impressed me.Star

I can imagine Elvis going on and heading toward country music.
Maybe he and Willie and Waylon could've worked together.
I think he would've sounded great teaming with Johnny Cash too.

I think anybody that really loves music would not like what the industry has done. He would be a  breath of fresh air if only we still had him around.

Hello J. Almond, music has gone along way to something beyond our expectation it has turned into a nightmare. Whatever happen to the great refined singers and the good old true music? Whether, people of today accept it or not they will have to contend themselves with recycled music to escape the boring and monotonous music of today. If Elvis is still alive today he may find some trouble adapting to the kind of music today and perhaps he will find himself singing the same kind of song he used to do and will not join the trend of  lousy music of today. Although, admittedly because of his versatility he might come up with some kind of innovation though

I now he covered off some country standards and nodded towards country, but Elvis was no cowboy and he was more inclined towards the blues influence, but would have developed into an artist who covered all types of influences in a unique Elvis way, that is his mark from the 50's to 77, he was not like anybody else!!

Elvis is a versatile singer and he can almost belt out any kind of song from latin to country kind of songs. That gives him the edge over other regular singers. You are absolutely correct Allan, Elvis is indeed like nobody else !!!

Hi Rico

Yes I know Maurice, although it is a long time since I seen him.

Yes there is great following for Elvis in Ireland and the Elvis Social CLub holds regular events and gets hundreds in attendance. Whats it like in your place?
